Mark R. LaFleur
Depression, Anxiety
& Self-talk Specialist
About Me
Hi! I’m Mark LaFleur. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Denver metro area helping people who suffer from depression and anxiety live more confident, meaningful and fulfilling lives.
I’ve always been drawn to care for those who suffer from depression and anxiety, mostly due to the fact that I too am intimately acquainted with that kind of suffering. I’ve come to realize that my own pain is my greatest gift in helping others. My clinical and personal experience allows me to create an atmosphere that invites and enhances the healing process.
My clients are high-functioning, motivated, and committed to making changes in their lives that ultimately lead to healing, growth and change. My job is to work myself out of a job with every client!
Another specialty of mine is the art of self-talk…yes it’s an art. I’ve created a four part process that helps people turn their self-talk from harmful to helpful, becoming your own advocate. It’s more than just self-talk it’s about creating a new and healthy relationship with yourself allowing you to celebrate your strengths and accept your weaknesses.
My worldview is from a Christian perspective but I work with people of all worldviews and beliefs with respect and dignity.
It’s not just my career…it’s my calling.
